First of all, sorry for writing in English, since my German is kind of rusty.

As far as I know, there are two different kinds of boots fielded by the Swiss army, the KS90 of the first generation and the KS90 of the second generation. Is any generation superior? Did they tried to be more cost-effective with the new model? What where your experiences?

Kind regards

Hm I never heard of different generations. I only know about different producers. Akku and Minerva. Minerva are supposedly a bit better glued together, whereas Akku tend to fall apart at the seem between sole and leather. I also heard it's less a problem of bad glue and more of really old boots.
